Raising capital
Capital
Two routes to funding. High Elm can invest in your company directly. If it isn’t a deal for us, we still help you raise from a wider network of investors and lenders. Many clients use both.
- Direct investment. High Elm invests its own capital in selected companies it advises or meets.
- Funding from others. Introductions to angels, family offices, funds and lenders, whether or not High Elm invests.
- Raise preparation. Investment case, financial model, data room, terms and structure.

What founders leave with
The same discipline used on real deals.
Every opportunity that reaches an investment desk gets a fast, honest call: pursue it, park it until something changes, or pass. Founders rarely see that thinking applied to their own business before they pitch.
A First Look gives you that view first, with a clear call on where you stand and a written one-page assessment within two working days.

- The gating issueThe one thing that would stop an investor today.
- Three questionsWhat to answer next, before you pitch.
